Daily Health Tip - Yeast infections

If you are susceptible to these uncomfortable infections, if they are reoccurring, or if you are taking antibiotics or another medication that can make you subject to getting one, there are things you can do to avoid getting the dreaded yeast infection.  Avoid fragrant soaps or creams.  There has also been a correlation between recurrent yeast infections and shower gels or bubble baths. Also be very cautious of  douches, or deodorant tampons.

The best kind of soap to use when fighting a yeast infection is a mild soap. Try choosing one that is all-natural, fragrance-free, and/or hypoallergenic.  Check back for further tips on avoiding yeast infections and other health topics.

How Can I Prevent Blackheads From Returning?

After washing or exfoliating your face to remove blackheads, make sure you always follow with a toner. A toner will help close the pores and block dirt and oil from getting in.
