The majority of people fall under the assumption that life has its ups and downs and that there is nothing that can be done about the way one has been taught or trained to think, feel, or react. The reality, seemingly surreal, is that everyone has the answers within; it all starts with awareness.
Hypnotherapy may be one of the oldest mind healing modalities known to date, however in the last few decades it has unfortunately been portrayed mostly as a magicians trick or a jest. Although some techniques are new, the main purpose of hypnotherapy is to expand the client's own self-awareness. The client and hypnotherapist work together to overcome the programming of the past (learned behaviors/ reactions/ habits), through a process of simply implanting the new and desired outcomes. Through suggestions to the subconscious, the client is capable of overcoming obstacles they believed couldn't be changed or affected. These techniques move the client toward the natural process of being successful, having health and allowing happiness into their lives.
Below are the answers to the most commonly asked questions about hypnosis:
What is hypnosis?
Whenever you do anything automatic, your conscious mind is diverted from your subconscious
and you are more likely to go into a hypnotic state. Some automatic activities are more apt than
others to allow or provide daydreaming. For example, your mind might drift when you are
dining alone, taking a shower, mowing the lawn or jogging. These activities are stored in the
subconscious. While you are functioning in this automatic mode, it is quite easy to drift from an
alert state into a different level of consciousness. Daydreaming is the first of the levels in a
trance state. Hypnosis is a natural state of mind. You are not asleep while in hypnosis. During hypnosis, the body and conscious mind are in a relaxed, natural state, while the subconscious mind remains awake and receptive to suggestion.
Each week we will post different Hypnosis Q's and Misconceptions. These weekly postings are written by Jezaree McNutt, Licenced Massage Therapist, Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master and Hypnotherapist at The Center for True Harmony. She can use hypnotheapy to assist people who have weight issues, want to quit smoking, have a fear they want to conquer, want to improve their overall state of health, and more. To schedule your appointment with Jezaree call 480-539-6646 or email info@trueharmonywellness.com.

Swimming in a chlorinated pool will not make you break out. Chlorine is actually used to kill germs. Chlorine is also found in the drinking water that most of us use to wash our face. If you feel you are
breaking out everytime you swim it may be the sunscreen your using on your face. Make sure to wash your face with a Rhonda Allison cleanser after swimming. Regular facials will help to cleanse as well as add moisture back in to your skin if you are swimming a lot.
Call (480) 539-6646 today to set up your appointment with Tasia Klein, our Licensed Aesthetician! She has advanced knowledge in treating acne, rosacea, aging and sensitive skin. Tasia's approach to skin care is very holistic: she believes that eating right, exercising, drinking water, and living a balanced life all complement having beautiful, youthful skin.

What can I do about low back pain during pregnancy? Deliver. Women experience back pain during pregnancy due to a developing baby in their pelvis causing extra pressure and stress on bones and muscles. Another reason why low back pain is common in pregnancy is due to a hormone called Relaxin which causes the loosening of ligaments and tendons allowing the pelvis to adjust to the growing baby and allowing the pubic bone and cervix to widen for labor and delivery. There are many things you can do to manage low back pain during pregnancy, for instance: yoga, stretch, swimming, as well as see your chiropractor, acupuncturist or massage therapist.

1st Day off the Cleanse...
I was so glad I did this cleanse! I definately felt a change in my body. Like the other person who did this cleanse, I felt a "re-set" if you will. I do not have near the sugar cravings that I did prior to this cleanse.
I am still eating similar to the way I did on this cleanse, but adding in some chicken, fish and a luxury meal here and there.
I would definately recommend to do a cleanse for anybody that is feeling "off". Foggy thinking, sugar cravings, headaches, bloated, etc. Although, I would also suggest making an appointment with your Physician before starting a cleanse. For guidance as well as to make sure there are no contraindications (reasons you should not do a cleanse).
Good Luck!

Day 11- First day off the cleanse
Wow - my famous sugar cravings are gone! I completely feel like my body has reset itself. Now is the time to start new patterns and behaviors with my eating. Now I remember why I like doing the cleanses. I was eating too much sugar during the day. I could feel it.
I am sooooo happy I did this cleanse. This will help me keep my portion sizes smaller - stop any continuous eating for a meal (which is my weakness and remnant bulimic behavior - even if it is a small binge with no purge).
My goals for after this - not such a dependency on sugar and carbs, chocolate and cakes and breads.
Today I ate good I think
I started my day as I do everyday - latte and apple and peanut butter
Lunch I had chicken noodle soup (wolfgang puck organic - Naturopath approvedJ. It has no MSG)
Dinner I had the classic yum yum yummy meal of French bread with virgin olive oil, a glass of wine, avocado in a cucumber/onion salad, and a half piece of grilled chicken breast.
I had a colon hydrotherapy today by Eireen Cullen. She has a closed system. It was a good session. We got lots of stuff out of me, as that was the goalJ The one interesting thing I found was all the heavy metals. I'm going to research this a bit more. Afterwards I probably should have eaten less of a meal, but was so busy during the day didn't get to eat much. The chicken I ate for dinner was a little sensitive in my stomach. I could feel the effort to digest it. I made sure to eat probiotics as always before a big meal (granted this was only a big meal compared to the meals I've been eating.
