Eating foods rich in anti-oxidants such as blueberries, pomegranates, etc. assist the skin in fighting free radicals that make the skin look dull. Carrots are loaded with Beta Carotene which helps protect the skin from sun damage such as hyperpigmentation or melasma. Omega 3 which is found in fish is very healthy and nourishing for our skin as well as our internal organs. If fish isn't appealing there are supplements available and Flax seed oil is a good source of Omega 3.
