Patients who receive OB care at True Harmony have a definite advantage when it comes to dealing with many of the common discomforts associated with pregnancy. The center has an on-site staff that can provide therapies including acupuncture, massage, reflexology, facials, and craniosacral release. The Center also provides pregnancy stretch classes and organizes meetings held on site regarding breast feeding and other related topics.

Massage and reflexology can be used to ease muscle tension discomforts, lymph flow issues and even help to induce labor. Our patients really love the convenience of being able to book a massage the same day as their appointment with the doctor. A massage is a wonderful idea for post partum patients as well. It helps relieve the aches and pains from labor and prepare and relax the new mom for her great adventure!
Many of our newly pregnant moms have great success in relieving nausea through acupuncture, provided by our own naturopathic physician. And they appreciate the fact that they can get this service a the same location as well.
Sometimes, our patients are not experiencing the "beautiful glow of pregnancy" and unfortunately, are dealing with increased acne due to changes in hormones.
