ChildBirth Education Class in Mesa AZ
A woman’s body goes through many processes during pregnancy and childbirth. The purpose of this class is to explain why, and to learn the signs that typically show when they are happening. We also explain how a healthy body is well equipped to deal with birth in a normal, safe way without interference. We wish for you to understand the reasons for common interventions, in order to empower you to be more involved in your care. We also talk about how to respectfully discuss care with hospital staff in order to share and receive information, making it a more cooperative and thoughtful experience. We will touch on many other topics and provide handouts for reading at home. We also encourage you to do further research and/or take a full 16-hour class series to become more prepared for this unforgettable and life-changing experience. Our “Breath-work and Comfort Measures for Labor” class is also recommended.
